MAN Latin America, in partnership with MIB Blindados Implementos and the Protege group, developed the first armored truck on the Brazilian market with the Volkswagen Constellation 24.280 8×2 with extended cabin. The truck was developed for the transportation of valuables by Protege in the city of Rio de Janeiro.

The Protege Group's first armored truck with a refrigerated box. The vehicle is certified by Anvisa and the Federal Police and is used for medicines, vaccines, pharmaceutical supplies and perishable products in general, which require strict temperature control throughout the entire cargo transportation route.

The vehicle's armor meets the highest level of approval stipulated by Brazilian authorities and the vehicle has a capacity for 14 tons of cargo. Named by Protege as Troodon Pharma, the refrigerated truck primarily serves customers in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Goiás. Among the segments that are served by the new service are laboratories, pharmaceutical companies and manufacturers of high added value supplies.
