Лагатып Zetor '09.1946–н.ч.

Tractors of the Zetor brand began to write their history in the post-war period. In September 1946 Chamber of Commerce and Trade of the Czechoslovak Republic issued a trademark for the Zetor brand.

The brand was born easily and simply: as the transcript of the letter "Z", used in the logo of the Brno Zbrojovka engineering plant where the first tractors were made, combined with the last two letters of the word "tractor".

In February 1949, the milestone of 10,000 tractors sold was reached.

1952 – In addition to tractors, Zbrojovka Brno also focuses on other production (motorcycle engines, firearms, typewriters). This limits the volume of tractor production. In 1954 Zetor's research and development base was established. It used the knowledge and experience of Zbrojovka Brno technicians.

On November 1, 1976, the world-famous Zetor brand became the company name. The name of the Líšeň factory was changed from the original ZKL (Ball Bearing Plant) Brno to Zetor Brno.

The year 1979 marks a record number of tractors produced for the Zetor brand in its entire history. A total of 32,670 tractors leave the production lines.

On July 1, 1993, the company was privatized and its name was changed to Zetor a.s.

Since 2002, Zetor Tractors a.s. has been owned by the Slovak Company HTC holding a.s. and produced in Brno, Czech Republic. Worldwide Zetor is represented by seven subsidiaries, UK, France, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, North America and India.

In 2015, Zetor Tractors a.s. introduced the new design concept Zetor by Pininfarina which was applied to all model ranges.
